This project was first inspired by the Bush Viper, a beautiful dangerous looking snake. What was so special about this snake was its scales, they look sharp and are raised like porcupine quills. The shape of this ottoman is that of the snake scales overlapping.
The development of this project is still ongoing but the trickiest part yet is the section that is upholstered. The hight of the frame needs to be just right to still fit the foam and fabric over that.
